Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada, is a Canadian actress famous for her character Bo in the Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk is a Canadian actress who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay and Peter Silk were both academics. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. Silk is the Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her first experiences as being at play rehearsals with her mom. Silk starred in numerous commercials for kids. Silk graduated from St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk moved to Toronto to further her acting profession in November 1999. Later, she spent the next decade, she moved in the following decade to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first met in Los Angeles at an Actors Workshop. In 2009, they were married civilly in December 2009. In April of 2011, they renew their vows during a Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second child was born in the month of May 2016. Silk's television work includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. Silk was cast in the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk became pregnant during production of the final season episode and broke the news to the fans during an episode of the Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk is involved in the production of Lost Girl since the final season episode premiered on the 6th of January, 2013. She announced via Twitter her intention to return June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of the fourth. CNN's Cable News Network named her performance as Bo and Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite television Couples. E! named them as the most popular Television Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's popularity has resulted in a large online audience on social media.
