Holly has been married at least three times. Her first marriage was with actor Danny Quinn. They got married in 1991, then divorced two years later. She dated Jim Carrey during auditions for Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. They weren't able to get the part however, they began to bond during filming Dumb and Dumber. The couple married in 1996. The wedding lasted just an year and then they separated in 2001, she was married to Francis Greco, a Canadian-born investor banker.The couple had three sons: Henry, George, and Alexander Holly-Greco. When she got married in 2008 to Greco she became an Canadian citizen. They divorced in 2014. Holly as well as her father Grant, and their families reside with Holly in Oakville (Ontario, Canada) along with three of her children. Holly, Grant and their respective families established their own A Fund in 1992 at Hobart & William Smith Colleges to honor her brother Alexander. Holly described him as a "boy full of ideas, hopes and dreams". In 1992, Holly her father Grant, as well as their families founded the A Fund in William and Hobart Smith Colleges to honor Alexander, who according to Holly "was a boy filled with dreams, hopes, and dreams."
Alaina Suddeth is child of Kristy Suddeth (Rossville, Georgia) and J. J. Suddeth. Her father is an engineer for process working in Chattanooga, Tennessee.Alaina started to sing when she was three. After a year-long vacation, she sang in the choir for children. The singer sang at church and restaurants, as well as holidays with family and any other gathering within 30 miles of where she lived. Alaina was the winner of the Southern Stars Pageant talent contest when she was just 8 years old. That year she was crowned the competition to showcase talent for children at Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival. The following years, she performed each year on the stage until 12 when the competition which allowed her to take part on the main stage of the festival was the winner. She traveled from Orlando, Florida, when she was ten to compete at the American Model and Talent Competition. The event was won by the young lady, who beat 1,500 other kids. Alaina was a part of Georgia Country Gospel Music Association's children's group. When she was 12 years old, Alaina made her first of many visits to Nashville. She played at Tootsie's Bar, which is a bar in the area situated on Broadway. Alaina was the winner of the WinniSTAR contest to showcase young talent in 2009 at Lake Winnepesaukah. She also created songs, such as Leaving and Set Me Free. The cousin of Alaina Holly Witherow was diagnosed with brain cancer. This inspired her to start singing. Alaina was employed by CiC's Pizza before becoming a part of Idol. She was a cheerleader at Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School in Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.
